The theme of the spoke is the development of innovative design solutions in order to develop sustainable buildings centered on people. The goal is to marry human multi-domain comfort and health with high energy performance and maximum adaptability to an evolving society, in a sustainable and cost-effective way. The consideration of energy-related behaviors in the designs and operations of buildings aims to maximize their environmental impact and sustainability right from the design phase, according to a life cycle approach.
